Annapolis Whalertowne

Chesapeake Whalertowne first opened a sales office in 1994 (as Annapolis Whalertowne) along sixth street in Annapolis' Maritime Republic of Eastport. While the office may have been small in physical space it certainly did its part in building a tremendous foundation for the Boston Whaler brand along Maryland's Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. An opportunity to expand and build upon that foundation presented itself in 2017 when a redevelopment project (110 Compromise Street) in Historic Downtown Annapolis offered the opportunity for Chesapeake Whalertowne to open on office accessible directly from the waterfront or the sidewalks of downtown. The doors to the 110 Compromise Street sales office opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 21, 2018. The new Annapolis location includes a 1400 sq/ft showroom which will feature boats 21' and under while the 50+ feet of docking will stage larger Boston Whalers for boarding and sea trial.
